Are there things that you want to ask, or maybe your friend wants to ask, or maybe it’s a question lots of kids your age have. We will try to get answers for them from community partners who know and share the answer here.

Do you have to ask your kids for help with computer stuff? Does that every make you nervous, not knowing what you don’t know. Yep, us too. We all need help understanding how the internet can be a great place and a scary one.

You know the saying “it’s the little things”? That saying really captures what the developmental assets encourages parents, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbors, support people and the general community to think about when interacting with youth. While the name “40 Developmental Assets” may sound a bit overwhelming, the 40 things kids need to be connected to themselves, family and community are all the little things we can do for kids every day.
Every stage of parenting can leave you feeling completely unsure of what you should be doing and how you should be doing it. If your teen is asking for permission to go to a party or they have been going for a while now, let us help guide you through some of the questions you need to ask your teen, and then ask them again and again, to make sure they have strategies and a plan to make choices you can both be okay with.
